More than 300 people participated in local networking events that helped to connect newcomers with the local communities. Each of the participating partners hosted a networking event – with the purpose of providing valuable contacts and acquaintances to the refugees, both for professional and personal purposes. The ultimate goal of the networking event was even further integration of the newcomers in the local community. The networking events were organized using the approaches of non-formal learning activities promoted by the Erasmus+ Programme, as well as known non-formal business techniques.

The primary tool for networking was Business Speed Dating. For the participants, speed networking events bring about many benefits. This opened doors to potential growth opportunities and valuable partnerships. The networking events also allowed exchanging contacts for personal interests – hobbies, creativity, health and wellbeing, volunteering, and various support groups.
